10 Inch Ventilation Kit

Solatube is available with an attractive optional ventilation kit. When a 10" Solatube is combined with a light kit, this 3-in-1 ceiling fixture minimizes the amount of ceiling penetrations and fixtures.
Venturi design and external damper prevents backdraft and diminishes closure noise
Quiet, remote roof mounted fan ensures quiet operation
Fan motor moves up to 150 cubic feet per minute.
Protective screen keeps rodents and birds from entering the exhaust tubing

Material Specifications:
Damper Housing/Damper: Aluminum
Fan Motor Housing: Sheet galvanized steel, minimum .025" thick. Overall 6.0" in diameter by 7.5" deep Provided with U-shaped metal bracket .07" thick riveted to sides for motor mounting. Connected to aluminum damper housing for roof mounting.
Impeller: Polymeric, located at least 1" from motor body. Provided with 4 blades, each minimum 2mm thick. Rise 1". Axial fan blades integral to drum. Impeller secured to motor shaft by press fit.
